Meet the Maker
Founder Story - Meet Sophie Noble and get to know her journey of creativity and why she created EUDAIM.
Hello, I’m Sophie — a maker, a mother, and someone who believes deeply in the magic of creating with your hands.
Eudaim was born during a chaotic and stressful time in life when I needed peace and stillness. Knot by knot, macramé and watercolour painting became my anchor in life — a way to reconnect with myself through colour and texture, to live in the moment. What started as a personal hobby has grown into a space where I now share that sense of calm with others.
Every kit I design carries a piece of that story. The soft cotton cord, the ocean‑inspired colours, the gentle tutorials — they’re all invitations to pause, create, and make something beautiful at your own pace.
I’m so grateful you’re here, and I hope your creative journey brings you the same grounding joy it brings me.
EUDAIM comes from eudaimonia, meaning a flourishing life that could be measured by
1. Autonomy (in control of your actions).
2. Competence (mastering skills, achieving goals).
3. Relatedness (deep connections with others).
